PRENATAL CHECK-UP

MAMMOGRAM
An x-ray imaging technique used to inspect the breast in order to check for early signs of breast illnesses like cancer. It functions as a screening and diagnostic tool. It can be used for diagnostic purposes, such as looking into symptoms or odd findings on another imaging test, or for breast cancer screening.
PAP. SMEAR
According to DOH Cervical Cancer is the 2nd leading cancer site among women. An estimated 7,277 new cases of, and 3,807 deaths due to, cervical cancer are expected to occur every year. Doctors frequently use pap smear procedures for early detection of cervical cancer in women.
ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND
A type of imaging test. It is used to look at organs in the abdomen, including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, and kidneys. The blood vessels that lead to some of these organs, such as the inferior vena cava and aorta, can also be examined with ultrasound.
TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND
A type of ultrasound commonly used to evaluate fertility issues, detect and monitor pregnancy, diagnose gynecological conditions such as fibroids or ovarian cysts, and evaluate abnormal uterine bleeding or pelvic pain. It is a safe and minimally invasive procedure that typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
